The Aimpoint COMP M4 series is the most robust series of red dot sights that Aimpoint has ever produced.
This series was selected by NATO as the standard sight for infantry. The optics are fully multi-coated, robust and resistant. It is waterproof and fog-proof. Thanks to the use of ACET technology, these red dot sights can be operated for up to 8 years with a single AA battery. The red dot has a diameter of 2 MOA and can be adjusted in 16 steps. Seven of these are for use with night vision devices, the other nine for use in daylight and twilight.
The COMP M4 and M4s models differ only in the position of the battery compartment and the switch unit.
- On the M4, the battery compartment and switch unit are located at the top, making it ideal for use as a secondary sight.
- On the M4s, the battery compartment and switch unit are located at the bottom.
