What is new about the latest generation of riflescopes? At first glance, three changes immediately catch the eye.
- The magnification adjustment ring has been significantly redesigned and now offers a better grip thanks to its coarser structure.
- The reticle 4 has been made significantly finer and leaves more space in the centre.
- The reticle adjustment is made of metal, is more clearly defined and features a double turn and zero stop.
The Generation III boasts a newly developed reticle, greatly improved coating and a robust, waterproof and hard-wearing quick-adjust reticle. This features a zero stop for quick and accurate return to the zero point of the ASV elevation adjustment at long shooting distances, as well as a double scale (double turn) for the windage adjustment to take wind and movement speed into account.
Robust adjustment mechanism for tough use with zero stop & ASV
The reticle adjustment towers of the DDoptics Generation III target optics are made of a robust aluminium alloy and are free of all plastic parts. All aluminium parts are finished with the new, non-glossy DDoptics fine-black anodised coating. The adjustment mechanism has been converted to the tactical version, which means that it is not only very shock-resistant and completely waterproof, but also hard-running and thus protected against accidental adjustment. This means that the reticle adjustment can also be used "open" in everyday hunting, i.e. without a screw lock, so that the reticle can be adjusted quickly depending on the situation.
Practical quick reticle adjustment
A double scale (doubleturn) on the elevation adjustment tower allows you to read the number of clicks made and adjust accordingly. After zeroing, the reticle adjustment can be "reset" to zero. Then the zero stop ring is turned until it stops.
Next, the zero setting is locked in place from below using the zero stop ring to reach a stop at the zero position. Starting from the zero position, various shooting distances can be preset using a marking system, provided that the load data is known. The side adjustment tower is marked with two counter-rotating scales. Starting from the zero setting, the reticle can be preset here depending on the wind direction and wind strength or any movement of the target.
Powerful optics – improved contrast | CT glass
The third generation of DDoptics riflescopes features high-performance CT (Clear Transmission) glass with full DDlucid coating. This eliminates reflections and stray light and provides a brilliant image with outstanding edge sharpness. Light transmission reaches peak values of up to 94.7% (day) and 93% (night). Further advantages of the newly used glass type are significantly improved contrast behaviour and the reduction of colour fringing.
The fibre opticred dot sight, equipped with completely redesigned electronic circuitry by DDoptics, is so small that it only obscures the target as little as possible. Thanks to fibre optic technology, the illuminated dot not only becomes darker when dimmed, but also finer. The illuminated dot can be dimmed continuously by 100 percent until it can no longer be seen by the human eye. The reticle then acts like a target optic without a light unit. When the illuminated dot is activated, there is no annoying glare or reflections within the optic. As the light unit is handmade, special customer requirements can be taken into account individually. At full intensity, the light dot is visible against the sun and below level 4 can only be seen with a night vision device image tube. In the Ifiber version, the light dot is equipped with some of the most advanced, intelligent and automatic electronics available.

The Nachtfalke 5-30x50 Tactical is a high-performance rifle scope with 6x zoom and innovative technology. With its robust, 2mm thick frame walls these optics even exceed military standards. Quick adjustment with zerostop
The amount of click adjustments can be seen on the double scale (doubleturn) of the hight adjustment tower and be adjusted accordingly. After test shooting the reticle adjustment can be put on zero. Then the zerostop ring is turned until the stop. After that the zero adjustment is adjusted via the zerostop ring from below in order to reach an impact at the position zero. From the position zero different target distances can be preadjusted with a marker system.
Lateral adjustment with opposing scales
The lateral adjustment has two opposing scales. That way the reticle can be preadjusted according to wind direction and wind intensity or a possible movement of the target starting at the zero position..
The parallax compensation
guarantees a razor sharp and effortless image starting at 25m and corrects the diagonal insight and resulting shooting errors.
Almost indestructible
The nitrogen filling of the Nachtfalke 5-30x50 T ensures watertightness (0,3kg/cm2) and protects against inside condensation. Rough use can't damage the riflescope tube (diameter 30mm, length: 348mm) as it is made of duraluminium (70%), brass (20%) and steel (10%). The outer walls are more than a millimeter. The shock-proofness is up until 1000 G or 6500 Joule. The riflescope is fully functioning even at extreme temperatures (+80 degrees Celsius to -20 degrees Celsius).
This model is equipped with the Fine Duplex reticle with illuminated dot. It can be dimmed continuously, from daylight suitable to use with night vision devices.

What are the advantages of the new DDoptics IFiber technology?
More comfort and safety without having to adjust. The illumination dot is as easy to activate as ever. Simply turn the knob to steplessly adjust the illuminated fibre-optic dot to the desired brightness. That's it! Your new, intelligent IFiber will do the rest.
Your movement activates your illumination dot. (Motion-Control)
A highly modern position and movement sensor registers every movement and trhe position of the optics. A controller interprets this data so that the illumination dot can be wherever it is needed.. That way a maximum of power is economized.
Up- and downhill feature (Angle-Control)
If you exceed the shot angle of 45 degrees (higher or lower) the illumination dot checks if you are shooting up- or downhill. If you don't get back to a normal shooting position after a few minutes the illumination dot changes to rest and transport mode.
The transport mode (Position-Control and Angle-Control)
During transport mode (hanging over the shoulder or lying on the side) the illumination dot isn't activated by movement. Once you bring the optics in a normal shooting position the IFiber Controller reacts to movement again. A short tug or tilting will activate the illumination dot again in the preadjusted brightness (IFiber-Memory-Control).
How does IFiber work:
The logical answer is: state-of-the-art micro technology. The new illumination dot controller has been equipped with state-of-the-art micro technology. An ultra-modern position and motion sensor registers every movement as well as the position of the optics. This information is interpreted by a controller to make sure the illumination dot is available when you need it, while at the same time saving the maximum amount of energy. This control has an energy consumption which isn't higher than the self-discharge of your battery.
IFiber-BLP (Battery Longevity Protection)
If the IFiber doesn't notice any activities during more than three hours the electronics can turn off itself and the light-emitting diode completely. Thus the controller enables total battery protection. After turning off it can't be activated without your help. In that condition the your battery is protected as best as possible against discharging by a consumer (Controller, light).
Restart via reset
To restart the illumination dot just turn the on/off control back to position zero for two seconds. After that, you can use the illumination dot again as usual.
