Kahles K540i REFINED 5–40×56 – High-magnification riflescope for extreme distances
The Kahles K540i REFINED is consistently designed for precise shooting at very long distances. It combines an exceptionally large magnification range with high optical performance, precise mechanics and a stable, long-range construction. Developed for experienced long-range shooters, it offers maximum readability, high adjustment reserves and reliable repeat accuracy even at extreme distances.
The REFINED models from Kahles are based on the proven features of the K series and specifically improve operation and overview without changing the familiar handling. Redesigned turrets with a uniform 10-MIL concept, optimised ergonomics of the controls and an enlarged field of view ensure faster orientation and more intuitive settings in practical use.
In addition, parallax adjustment and reticles have been further refined to ensure more precise handling and better readability. The aim of the REFINED series is not to redefine, but to consistently optimise details for greater control, clarity and efficiency in sporting shooting.
This riflescope has the SKMR4+ reticle.

Extreme magnification range:
With 5–40× magnification and an 8x zoom, the K540i REFINED enables both precise work at medium distances and detailed target acquisition at very long ranges. The large zoom range allows flexible adaptation to changing shooting distances.
Reticle in the first image plane:
The illuminated reticle in the first image plane (FFP) remains true to scale across the entire magnification range. This enables accurate distance measurements and hold points regardless of the magnification setting.
Ergonomic operating concept:
The controls are clearly structured and optimised for use from the shooting position. The parallax adjustment is ergonomically integrated and covers a wide adjustment range. The side adjustment can be mounted on the left or right, depending on preference.
Precise adjustment and high adjustment reserves:
The turrets operate with 0.1 MRAD clicks and 100 clicks per revolution. The large adjustment range of 2.9 m/100 m in elevation and 1.2 m/100 m in windage offers sufficient reserves for extreme long-range distances and demanding ballistic corrections.
Zero-Stop and TwistGuard:
The mechanical zero stop enables a safe and reproducible return to the zero position. The TwistGuard twist protection prevents unintentional adjustments of the side adjustment and increases operational safety in use.
High image quality and stable construction:
The 56 mm objective ensures a bright, high-contrast image with high detail sharpness. The 36 mm main tube offers maximum stability and supports the large adjustment reserves required for extreme distances.
