Solarlite 101 mm

This filter with SolarLite film from Thousand Oaks combines the optical clarity of glass with the durability of polymer, giving you razor-sharp solar images without having to worry about small holes, scratches or delicate coatings.

The felt-lined mounting ensures a secure, scratch-free fit and easy attachment.

SolarLite provides a uniform yellow-orange solar image across the entire aperture with excellent contrast and uniform density. The smooth, flat surface ensures sharper images compared to other thin-film filters, which often have wrinkles and creases.

SolarLite is tear-resistant, puncture-proof and more robust than any other solar film available, setting new standards for safe, high-quality solar observation.

Safety note: Check your solar filters for damage or defects before each use. Never conduct observation of the sun without a securely attached, undamaged filter.

Tip: The outer diameter of your lens should be at least 1.6 millimetres smaller than the inner diameter of the filter holder. This corresponds approximately to the thickness of the felt lining the filter.
