The FGH deluxe binocular holder from Berlebach leaves nothing to be desired. It securely connects binoculars to any photo tripod and allows precise panning and tilting of the binoculars. The 2-way-panheads, optimised for observation, are completely integrated into the binocular holder, guaranteeing a very compact design with maximum stability.
The support surface for binoculars measures 2 x 65 x 100 mm and can be precisely adjusted to the respective optics by simply turning the knurled wheel in a range from 30° to -15°. When the support surfaces are in the V position (-15°), monoculars can also be mounted. They are secured to the rubber-corked surfaces with a 400 mm long rubber strap. For zenith observation, we recommend a tripod with a tiltable and swivelling centre column, such as Report 843 and Report 342.
The vertical axis can be fixed in place using a lock. The friction of the horizontal rotation can be adjusted using a friction lever. This means that the binoculars holder can be easily adjusted depending on the weight of the binoculars or spotting scope. The base diameter of 68 mm is optimised for Berlebach tripods, but can of course also be mounted on any other tripod with a 3/8" or ¼" connection.
