The SQA60pro is an Astrograph with a 60 mm aperture, a focal length of 276 mm and an aperture ratio of f/4.6. The SQA60pro offers superb star resolution with excellent illumination across the entire field of view.
The SQA60pro features a six-element design with air gaps, incorporating two SD glass elements and supporting full-frame cameras. This so-called Petzval design eliminates the need for back-focus calculations: with a flange distance between 41 mm and 66 mm, you can start photographing immediately once the OTA is focused. Furthermore, there is no need for an additional flattener.
The SQA60pro features a permanently integrated dew shield that reliably protects the optics from stray light.
On the front, the SQA60pro features an integrated filter thread with a diameter of 82 mm, which is compatible with most photographic filters on the market. This allows users to use different filters depending on their shooting requirements. At the rear end of the OTA is an M48 adaptor with an integrated 2-inch filter thread, allowing 2-inch filters to be screwed in.
The tube clamps of the SQA60pro feature a multifunctional viewfinder shoe on the upper carrying handle for attaching various accessories. The base of the tube clamps is fitted with a standard 290 mm Vixen prism rail, which allows tool-free mounting on most telescope mounts.
The SQA60pro’s focuser is a high-precision rack-and-pinion focuser with dual-speed reduction and a rotation adapter. It is compatible with most electronic focusers. The travel range is 25 millimetres.
Viewfinder shoes are located on both sides of the focuser, allowing its position to be changed or additional accessories to be mounted without removing the focuser.
The tube of the SQA60 Pro is fully CNC-machined, finely anodised and finished with a matt anti-reflective coating. This underscores the high-quality workmanship and premium quality of the instrument.
