The 10"-f/4 UNC Newtonian is a versatile and relatively compact telescope suitable for both portable and stationary use. Its high light-gathering power of f/4 makes the Newtonian the ideal telescope for astrophotography. You can capture fully exposed images of objects in just one night.

Carbon lens tube: The classic black carbon lens tube saves weight. This not only makes transportation easier but also takes load off the mount. At the same time, the thermal expansion coefficient of carbon fibre is considerably smaller than that of aluminium or steel. This makes the telescope's focus much more stable when is comes to changes in temperature.
Anti-reflective paint for the best possible internal blackening: This Newtonian telescope uses a special anti-reflective paint. It darkens the interior of the tube just as effectively as velour film. The major advantage, apart from its lighter weight, is that the paint attracts hardly any dust. The optics remain clean. With velour film, dust accumulates very quickly on the primary mirrors.
For mounting on a prism rail: Flat mounting surface with an M6 thread on each tube clamp
UNCN2-G2 2" focuser: The focuser protrudes only 58 mm from the edge of the tube and can still support heavy cameras and accessories without tilting. The focuser is superior to conventional Crayford focusers.

- The adjustment is decoupled from the ball bearing – a clear advantage over Crayford focusers

- The ball bearings are adjustable, allowing the focuser tube to be perfectly adjusted – however, we deliver the focuser already optimally adjusted.
- Accessories can be screwed on – the 2" plug-in sleeve can be unscrewed, leaving you with an M54x0.75 internal thread.
