The new Pleiades 181 Quadruplet APO is an astrograph with FPL-53 lenses and integrated corrector plus 3.7" R&P focuser.
This instrument is designed almost exclusively for astrophotography. With its 7-element lens design, the Pleiades 181 delivers sharp, clear images. The model has a very fast f/5.5 aperture ratio - ideal for astrophotography and short exposure times! Full-frame sensors are fully illuminated. In addition to the Bahtinov focusing mask and a protective carrying case, this apochromatic refractor comes with three adaptors for CCD and DSLR cameras: M48, M54 and M68.
The Pleiades 181 is compatible with electronic focusers, such as the ZWO EAF, and can be used with full-frame, DSLR/APS-C, mirrorless, CMOS and CCD camera formats. Corresponding T-adapters are available as an option: Canon EF, RF / Nikon F, Z / Sony E / Pentax K / Micro Four Thirds / Fuji X.
The Pleiades 181 is designed to resemble the star cluster from which it takes its name and impresses with its elegant white and red colour scheme. A Losmandy prism rail is included, as is a practical handle that also accepts William Optics finders or guidescopes.
