Product description

The new Pleiades 68 Quadruplet APO is an astrograph with FPL-53 lenses and integrated corrector plus WIDF ("WO Internal Focus Design").

This instrument is designed purely for astrophotography. With its 7-element lens design, the Pleiades 68 delivers sharp, clear images. The model has a very fast aperture ratio of f/3.8 - ideal for astrophotography and short exposure times! Full-frame sensors are completely illuminated. In addition to the Bahtinov focusing mask and a protective carrying bag, this apochromatic refractor comes with two adaptors for CCD and DSLR cameras: M48 and M54.

The Pleiades 68 is compatible with electronic focusers, such as the ZWO EAF, and can be used with full-frame, DSLR/APS-C, mirrorless, CMOS and CCD camera formats. Corresponding T-adapters are available as an option: Canon EF, RF / Nikon F, Z / Sony E / Pentax K / Micro Four Thirds / Fuji X.

The Pleiades 68 is designed to resemble the star cluster from which it takes its name and impresses with its elegant black and blue colour. A Vixen/GP prism rail is included, as is a practical handle that also accommodates William Optics finders or guidescopes.
