Everyone knows the situation: although the front seats are good for watching the action on stage first-hand, the stage is often very high and therefore there is a danger of neck tension. In the back seats, you feel distanced from the action.
With opera glasses, you can get closer to what’s happening and focus your eye on the stage. With small binoculars, you can even observe the gestures and facial expressions of the individual actors.
Binoculars weighing over 400 grams, or whose front lens diameter is over 30 mm, are rated by us as "not recommended" for the theatre.
Many customers also use small opera glasses. Their imaging capabilities may not be as good, but they provide a larger field of vision and thus a better view of events on stage.
