Hawke Frontier ED X
The Hawke Frontier ED X range is designed for demanding nature and birdwatching enthusiasts looking to combine high optical performance with a robust, premium construction. ED glass, precision optics and durable materials provide excellent image quality and reliable performance in a wide range of outdoor conditions.
The robust body is designed for regular outdoor use. Nitrogen purging prevents internal fogging, while the waterproof construction provides additional protection in changing weather conditions. Twist-up eye cups allow the viewing position to be adjusted for comfortable observation.
Optics – System H7
Hawke's high-performance System H7 is designed to deliver detailed, high-contrast viewing with excellent colour fidelity. High-resolution phase-corrected BAK-4 roof prisms combined with dielectric mirror coatings provide high light transmission and a bright, brilliant image.
Fully multi-coated optics optimise light transmission throughout the optical system. The Extra-low Dispersion glass used in Frontier ED X models significantly reduces chromatic aberration and unwanted colour fringing. This results in precisely defined contours and natural colour reproduction, particularly when viewing high-contrast subjects and in challenging lighting conditions.
Water-repellent coatings on the external lens surfaces also help maintain a clear view in wet conditions and make the lenses easier to clean.
Frontier ED X 8x25
The Hawke Frontier ED X 8x25 brings the premium optical performance of the Frontier range to an exceptionally compact format. With 8x magnification and 25 mm objective lenses, it is an excellent choice for travel, hiking, birdwatching and any situation where minimal size and high optical quality are equally important.
Its exceptionally wide field of view of 140 metres at 1,000 metres makes it easy to locate and follow moving subjects while providing an impressive overview for such a compact binocular. A close focus distance of just 2 metres further extends its versatility for observing nearby subjects.
The compact double-hinge design allows the binocular to fold down to a particularly small size, making it easy to carry in a jacket pocket or travel bag. Its magnesium alloy chassis combines excellent durability with low weight. At just 310 grams, the Frontier ED X 8x25 is a highly capable binocular for travelling light.
