These compact ALPEN 10x42 binoculars with rangefinders and sturdy magnesium housing impress with their excellent optics, precise rangefinding and comfortable handling.
Optics
The ED glass (Extra-Low Dispersion) used in these high-quality binoculars guarantees colour fidelity and excellent resolution. In addition, the BaK4 prisms are fully multi-coated for brighter images thanks to increased light transmission. The nitrogen filling prevents the lenses from fogging up from the inside.
rangefinders
Within a range of up to 2,286 metres (2,500 yards), the rangefinder integrated into the binoculars accurately measures the distance to animals, buildings and other objects. The maximum range for a multi-family house is approx. 2,286 m (2,500 yards), for a single-family house approx. 1,371 m (1,500 yards) and for roe deer approx. 731 m (800 yards). The distance can be easily read directly in the field of view on an OLED projection (red) with adjustable brightness. You can also choose between yards and metres for the distance display. The reticle can also be adjusted, as it is dimmable in 6 steps. The supplied CR2 battery scores with its very long service life. The remaining battery charge is indicated at a glance on the battery status display.
