The 3rd generation not only comes with a new design featuring a slim bridge, but also with improved optics. In addition, all moving parts on this model, such as the diopter, focusing wheel and eyecups, are made of robust light metal. Compared to its predecessor, the weight of the 3rd generation has been reduced by almost 40 g.

A sophisticated phase correction of the roof prism system ensures brilliant, colour-true and high-contrast images. There is hardly any stray light when viewing the moon or against the light. The HDX FMC coating, newly used in the 3rd generation, guarantees impressive image brightness and even higher, reflection-free image sharpness right to the edge of the field of view.
Waterproof binoculars, fog-free and focus from 2.5 m
The Kolibri focuses using genuine internal focusing. Objects can be brought into sharp focus from a distance of just 2.5 m. This also works in heavy rain, which does not damage the binoculars. Nitrogen filling ensures that the Kolibri is completely waterproof and fog-free.
Complete field of view for spectacle wearers
The Kolibri has eyepiece cups with Z-lock made of indestructible light metal. These retractable eyepiece cups allow even spectacle wearers to enjoy the full field of view. The easily adjustable diopter compensation is located on the right eyepiece.
