Our expert comment:
The binoculars are supplied with a sturdy case. A swivelling mount is attached to the bottom of the binoculars, which allows the binoculars to be swivelled from 33 degrees below the horizon to 36 degrees above the horizon. You also need the Fujinon base on which the mount is attached. This base is also the azimuth bearing. If you want to build thebase yourself: the hole in the mount has a diameter of 31.8 mm and is 88 mm deep.
The close focus is approx. 60 metres.
The stray light eyepiece cups cannot be folded down, so you can only observe without glasses. The overtravel when focussing can compensate for a maximum of -7 diopters, so you can observe without glasses even if you are relatively short-sighted.
The eye relief is adjustable from 57 to 73mm.
