Fujinon LB-Series
The superior nighttime light gathering power of LB binoculars makes them the favorite of many astronomers for comet watching. EBC-coated optics and high-resolution lenses provide clear and sharp images without distortion or blurring from the center to the edges.

Our expert comment:
The binoculars are supplied with a sturdy carrying case. A swivel mount is fitted to the base of the binoculars, allowing them to be swivelled from 33 degrees below the horizon to 36 degrees above the horizon. You will also need the Fujinon base, onto which the mount is fitted. This base also serves as the azimuth bearing. For those wishing to buildthe base themselves: the hole in the mount is 31.8 mm in diameter and 88 mm deep.
The close-focus distance is approximately 60 metres.
The anti-glare eyecups cannot be folded down, so you can only perform observation without spectacles. The focus travel can compensate for up to –7 dioptres, so you can perform observation without spectacles even if you are relatively short-sighted.
The eye relief is adjustable from 57 to 73 mm.
