Hawke Frontier ED X
The Hawke Frontier ED X range is designed for demanding nature and birdwatching enthusiasts looking to combine high optical performance with a robust, premium construction. ED glass, precision optics and durable materials provide excellent image quality and reliable performance in a wide range of outdoor conditions.
The robust body is designed for regular outdoor use. Nitrogen purging prevents internal fogging, while the waterproof construction provides additional protection in changing weather conditions. Twist-up eye cups allow the viewing position to be adjusted for comfortable observation.
Optics – System H7
Hawke's high-performance System H7 is designed to deliver detailed, high-contrast viewing with excellent colour fidelity. High-resolution phase-corrected BAK-4 roof prisms combined with dielectric mirror coatings provide high light transmission and a bright, brilliant image.
Fully multi-coated optics optimise light transmission throughout the optical system. The Extra-low Dispersion glass used in Frontier ED X models significantly reduces chromatic aberration and unwanted colour fringing. This results in precisely defined contours and natural colour reproduction, particularly when viewing high-contrast subjects and in challenging lighting conditions.
Water-repellent coatings on the external lens surfaces also help maintain a clear view in wet conditions and make the lenses easier to clean.
Frontier ED X 10x25
The Hawke Frontier ED X 10x25 combines powerful 10x magnification with the exceptionally compact format of a 25 mm binocular. This makes it ideal for travel, hiking, birdwatching and nature observation where greater detail at longer distances is required.
With a field of view of 116 metres at 1,000 metres, the binocular still provides a good overview despite its higher magnification. A close focus distance of just 2 metres also allows detailed observation of nearby subjects.
Its compact double-hinge design allows the binocular to fold down to a particularly small size, making the Frontier ED X 10x25 an ideal companion for travelling light. The robust magnesium alloy chassis combines excellent durability with low weight. At just 310 grams, this model offers an excellent combination of higher magnification, premium optics and outstanding portability.
