The Lightquest HR observation binoculars combine excellent mechanical and optical design with exceptionally high performance!
They are waterproof to IPX7 standard (0.5 m water depth for 30 minutes) and filled with nitrogen for a fog-free view. The binoculars are equipped with single eyepiece focusing and are designed for medium to long observation distances in terrestrial and astronomical applications.
The housing is made of a magnesium alloy, which makes it very light but also very robust for its size. It is also covered with a robust rubber coating.
The binoculars are equipped with high-quality BaK-4 prisms housed in shock-resistant cages, and the optical system is fully broadband multi-coated. The high-resolution optical system contains lenses and prisms with high transmission of approx. 90%. The image is impressive with vivid colours and a flat, distortion-free image field right to the edges.
The improved and innovative eyepiece design (8 elements in 5 groups) contains oversized lenses for comfortable observation and enables highly corrected images. Foldable eyepiece cups are useful for spectacle wearers.
A central mounting system with thread connection is mounted for attachment to a tripod.
The scope of delivery includes lens caps, eyepiece protection and a carrying case with foam insert.
