Levenhuk New Atom 8x30 binoculars deliver a practical balance of magnification, field of view, and close-focus capability. The 30mm objective lenses and 8x magnification combine to enable the binoculars to focus on an object as close as 6 meters away from the observer. The angular field of view is 7.5°, translating to a field of view of 132 meters at a distance of 1km, making the binoculars a versatile and reliable companion for birdwatchers, anglers, hunters, or tourists.
The optical system is based on Porro prisms, and the lenses and prisms are made of BK-7 borosilicate glass. The optical coating enhances light transmission, delivering bright and high-contrast images not only in bright light but also in overcast conditions. The classic focusing mechanism utilizes a wide central wheel. The binoculars allow the adjustment of the interpupillary distance and diopter correction within a range of ±3D for comfortable use. An important feature is the binocular’s tripod compatibility, which is achieved with a separate adapter.
The body of the Levenhuk New Atom 8x30 binoculars is lightweight as it is crafted from aluminum alloy. Textured rubber grips ensure that the binoculars won’t slip out of your hands. The device features IPX3 water protection – moderate rain won’t interfere with your observations. For added convenience, the binoculars come with a neck strap, protective lens caps (for objectives and eyepieces), a lens cleaning cloth, and a carrying pouch for storage and transport.
