The housing is made of aluminium alloy with IPX3 splash protection. The dioptre adjustment allows the binoculars to be adjusted to the user's vision. Tripod mounting is possible via a photo thread.
The series includes models with fixed and variable magnification.
The Levenhuk New Atom 10–30x50 is a zoom binocular with 10–30x magnification and high-quality 50 mm optics. These binoculars offer the flexibility for observation of specific subjects, such as architectural details or wildlife in their natural environment, using the zoom, and for viewing of more distant scenes, such as natural landscapes or cityscapes, using the base magnification. The image produced by the binoculars is impressive, with high clarity, contrast and true-to-life colours. The BK-7 glass optics are fully coated, and the Porro prism system ensures outstanding brightness and optical performance for crystal-clear observations. This ensures comfortable viewing in low light conditions, whether at dusk, dawn or any other time when there is little light available.
With a close focus of only 8.2 metres, these binoculars are ideal for close-up shots at sporting events or bird watching expeditions. The dioptres can be easily adjusted within a range of ±3 D, and you can set a comfortable interpupillary distance between 56 mm and 72 mm for a personalised and optimised viewing experience. Importantly, the binoculars have a tripod adaptor connection (adaptors not included).
The robust aluminium alloy housing is coated with rubber and fits comfortably and securely in the hand. Although the binoculars are not designed for immersion in water, their IPX3 protection rating makes them ideal for use in moderate rain or snowfall. The Levenhuk New Atom 10–30x50 binoculars weigh less than one kilogram and come with a carrying strap for comfortable long-term use. The package also includes protection caps for the lenses, a soft cleaning cloth and a fabric bag for storing and protecting the lenses and eyepieces.
