MeoStar B1 Plus
The MeoStar B1 Plus binoculars are new for 2020. They represent a facelift of the MeoStar B1.1 model and are currently the most advanced binoculars in our range. Users get an HD* optical system with fluoride lenses that are optimised for twilight observations thanks to a MeoBright coating. The new rubber armouring design ensures a firmer grip – a clear advantage in demanding terrain and adverse weather conditions. Another new feature in the B1 series is the water-repellent MeoDrop coating. This ensures that drops run off the optical surfaces more easily, allowing clear observation even in rain and drizzle. The MeoStar B1 Plus is the ideal companion for exploring nature in all weathers.
MeoBright
MeoBrightTM is a multi-coating, which is applied to all glass-to-air surfaces using an ion-assisted vapour deposition process. This coating, which was developed by Meopta, eliminates reflections and increases transmission to 99.8% for each glass-to-air surface.
MeoDrop
Water-repellent coating
The special water-repellent coating repels water, dust and grease from the surface of the optical elements, ensuring a clear, brilliant image. It is based on the lotus effect; a specific microscopic layer prevents unwanted dust or water particles from adhering to the glass surface and allows them to roll off easily. Optical elements with the MeoDrop coating are easy to clean without leaving streaks.
