The dielectric multi-layer coating of the prism and the high-quality multi-layer coating ensure excellent brightness, colour fidelity and sharp detail. HIGH-PERFORMANCE OPTICS First-class optical performance when it matters. Thanks to the large field of view, you can scan landscapes more quickly. The image field flattening lens system provides a sharp and clear view right to the edge of the image. ED glass (extra-low dispersion) corrects chromatic aberration and delivers a high-contrast, high-resolution and colour-accurate image. All lenses and prisms are coated with a high-quality multi-layer coating. The roof prism is additionally coated with a dielectric, highly reflective multi-layer mirror to enhance light reflection. This combination results in an exceptionally bright image with a light transmission of up to 92% or more.

Thanks to the nitrogen filling, the housing is waterproof when submerged in up to 5 metres of water for up to 10 minutes. The optical system is prevented from fogging up even in low-pressure environments at altitudes of up to 5,000 metres, ensuring clear vision in all situations.
The MONARCH HG offers consistentlyhigh viewing comfort. A large exit pupil distance ensures a clearfield of vieweven for eyeglass wearers, and the movable rubber eyecups make it easy to align your eyes with the exit pupil. A locking system for the diopter adjustment wheel prevents accidental rotation, so that the binoculars always remain adjusted to your eyes and optimally suited to your vision requirements. With an optional adaptor, you can mount the binoculars on a tripod for more comfortable observation over longer periods of time.
