The new, ultra-compact MiniCat Astrograph from Wiillam Optics is a high-quality photographic instrument consisting of 6 lenses in 2 groups with integrated focuser (WIFD). The aperture ratio of f/3.5 allows very short exposure times with maximum image quality and correction. The illuminated image field corresponds to that of full-frame cameras.

The very short tube length and low weight of only 1.67 kg make the MiniCat a perfect apochromat for travelling and for small camera mounts, such as the iOptron SkyGuider. An M48 thread is provided for connecting the camera. Suitable T2 adaptors can be found under "Recommended accessories". The scope of delivery includes not only a protective nylon carrying bag, but also a specially calculated Bahtinov mask. This mask helps with focusing and is permanently integrated into the lens attachment.

Optics such as this MiniCat 51 are ideal for photographers who are dedicated to the night sky, but also to wildlife photography. With the MiniCat 51, you not only get impressive optical performance, but you can also enjoy the beautiful design and finish of William Optics!
