Optika B-810BF Brightfield Laboratory Microscope
The Optika B-810BF is the bright field model in the B-810 series, designed for demanding routine laboratory work, biological teaching at universities and the professional documentation of stained specimens. It is aimed at users seeking a high-quality bright field microscope for regular laboratory work. The B-810 series has been developed for comfortable use over extended periods and features a robust, stable construction made from die-cast aluminium. This makes the system particularly suitable for professional laboratory environments where durability, clean operation and reproducible image quality are crucial.
The configuration comprises an upright trinocular microscope with infinity optics, IOS-W-PLAN planachromatic lenses and a total magnification of up to 1000x. The Siedentopf trinocular head is inclined at 30°, rotates through 360° and features a 50/50 light split for observation and camera adaptation. The 10x eyepieces, with a field number of 22, high-eyepoint design, rubber eyecups and an adjustable interpupillary distance of 50–75 mm, ensure comfortable use even over extended periods.
The integrated X-LED³ lighting provides bright, white transmitted light with manual brightness control, 3.6 W power and a service life of over 65,000 hours. In combination with full Köhler lighting, specimens can be evenly illuminated and displayed with high contrast. This is particularly advantageous for stained biological specimens, materials from botany, teaching specimens and routine samples.
The rackless cross-table, measuring 220 × 149 mm, with a specimen holder for two slides, a travel range of 78 × 54 mm and X/Y vernier scales, enables precise specimen handling. The coaxial coarse and fine focus mechanism, with 2 µm fine resolution, upper stop, adjustable tension and an ergonomic flat knob, facilitates controlled focusing during day-to-day laboratory work.
