APM 120mm 90° SemiApo Binoculars with 1.25" Eyepiece Mount
High-quality Semi-Apo binoculars
See significantly more with both eyes!
With a 120 mm large telescope, we can already observe extensive gas nebulae and galaxies. Larger star clusters are even resolved into individual stars. By using binoculars, faint celestial objects appear significantly brighter and richer in contrast than with a conventional telescope of the same aperture. Observations with screwed-in nebulae filters are particularly attractive for objects such as the Orion Nebula, Cirrus Nebula or the Dumbbell Nebula. You can also see a virtual 3D effect, e.g. when observing the moon.
These 2-lens SA Apo binoculars with excellent spherical correction offer extremely high contrast. The colour correction, contrast and transmission are on a par with other Japanese lenses that cost significantly more. The basic equipment includes 1 set of 18 mm eyepieces.
Integrated features include sliding dew shields with front end caps, a carrying handle with sighting device, a photo tripod adapter with 3/8" thread connection and 2 eyepieces with 37x magnification. This model is also available in a 45° version.
To keep the glass manageable, the housing is made from magnesium alloy.
