The Artesky 19x42 ED combines a high 19x magnification with electronic image stabilisation and high-quality ED optics. It is particularly suitable for detailed observation of distant objects, whilst offering a compact Format and low weight. Whether for nature and birdwatching, landscape observation or astronomical observations – the image stabilisation makes it possible to comfortably make out fine details even at high magnification, without necessarily having to use a tripod.
The 42 mm objectives with ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass reduce chromatic aberrations and contribute to a high-contrast, colour-neutral image. The high-quality coating on all optical surfaces (Fully Multi-Coated) and the BAK4 roof prisms with phase and dielectric high-reflection coatings ensure high image quality and light transmission.
The electronic stabilisation system compensates for camera shake with a correction range of up to ±3°. This allows the high magnification to be utilised much more effectively, even during freehand observation. The robust magnesium alloy body is waterproof to IPX7 and nitrogen-filled to prevent the internal optics from fogging up.
Weighing just 780 g without batteries and measuring 189 × 122 × 52 mm, the Artesky 19x42 ED is a compact companion for when you’re on the move. The minimum focus distance of just 2.8 m extends its range of use to include observation of subjects at closer range. Power is supplied by two AAA batteries; the specified operating time is up to approximately 16 hours.
The Artesky 19x42 ED is the right choice for anyone looking to combine high magnification, high-quality ED optics and effective image stabilisation in a handy pair of binoculars.
