The Askar Apochromat F-Series features a quadruplet lens design (three lenses in the front group, one in the rear), which incorporates ED glass to effectively reduce chromatic aberrations.
The tube has an integrated aperture stop, which further blocks stray light and improves image quality. The Askar Apo supports full-frame and delivers fine, sharp star images across the entire field of view.
Thanks to the Flatfield design, there is no need to purchase additional flatteners or calculate back focus, making it easy to use.
The Apo comes as standard with a photographic extension tube featuring a 2-inch filter thread. The package includes adaptors with M48x0.75 and M54x0.75 threads, ensuring compatibility with DSLR cameras or cameras for astronomy to meet a wide range of requirements.
The Apo’s handle provides mounts for additional accessories. Furthermore, both sides of the focuser feature a viewfinder shoe.
The Apo is equipped with a 3-inch rack-and-pinion focuser with reduction gear, which supports fine adjustment at a ratio of 1:10. The fine adjustment knob has a protection cap to prevent damage. A 360° rotatable rotator with a scale is attached to the rear of the focuser, enabling precise angular adjustments.
This Apo is a versatile Astrograph of high optical quality and allows you to get started in deep-sky photography at a very reasonable price.
The Vixen-standard prism rail is 300 mm long and is fitted with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch photographic threads, allowing for direct attachment to a tripod.
